Stones, Song & Sacred Rain: The Day After Nana’s Feast
Share
Yesterday, we feasted.
We offered. We signed. We sat in circle and surrendered.
And today? Spirit showed up again — softly, powerfully, and in perfect order.
✨ The Cards: Ayizan, Yemaya, and Oshun Speak
The day began with stillness. I sat down and pulled three cards:
-
Ayizan: Miracles
The divine matriarch reminding me that magic is real and miracles are near — especially when you’re open enough to receive them. -
Yemaya: Awakening
My spirit is rising. Even through exhaustion, even through grief. She’s calling me into deeper healing, gentler waters, and maternal protection. -
Oshun of Unlocked Gates
And there she was again — Oshun. Her gates are open, and she’s reminding me: I am worthy of walking through them.
Each card landed like a breath, a truth I already knew but needed to remember.
🎶 The Song: “Put It All On Me”
Later, while driving and reflecting on the cards, “Put It All On Me” by Ed Sheeran came on — and I broke down.
It didn’t feel like a romantic song.
It felt like Spirit — Oshun, maybe even Nana — whispering:
“You’ve carried so much. You don’t have to hold it all. Put it on me.”
“You’ve been so strong, but now it’s time to soften.”
It was both a release and a reminder:
You are not alone in this.
🌧️ Then Came the Rain
When I got home, the sky opened up.
Without thinking, I stepped outside. Barefoot. Grounded.
Feet in the grass. Rain on my crown.
The water soaked through my locs, over my shoulders, and down my spine. And I didn’t flinch. I received it. This wasn’t just weather — it was ritual. A baptism. A blessing. A soft reset after a powerful night.
🐸 The Frog & The Stones
After grounding, I looked down and noticed a cluster of stones by my feet — each one earthy, warm, and different. And then — a small frog appeared.
The frog, a sacred symbol of transition and emotional cleansing, confirmed it:
Something sacred had shifted.
What I released last night during Nana’s feast… was received.
🧴 The Shower: A Ritual in Disguise
After the rain, I showered — not to rinse off, but to seal it in.
I grabbed my body wash without thinking: honey and milk.
Golden. Sweet. Nourishing.
It was Oshun, again — cloaking me in softness and divine sweetness. Reminding me: you are a sacred vessel. You deserve joy.
🌕 Moon Water + Blessed Oil: The Final Anointing
After the shower, I wasn’t done.
I poured moon water into my locs, letting the lunar energy crown me with clarity.
Then, I anointed my skin and scalp with the ritual oil Ricki blessed during her Part Two series. The scent, the texture — it sealed everything.
The ritual wasn’t over.
It had only just begun.
🌺 The Message: Oshun & Nana Are Tag-Teaming My Healing
This wasn’t coincidence.
This was divine choreography.
Oshun wrapped herself around me.
Nana whispered through the rain.
The Earth gave me stones.
The frog reminded me to listen.
And the moon water + oil sealed the vow.
💭 Final Reflection
I don’t always know what’s next. But today reminded me I don’t have to.
I’m being led.
I’m being loved.
And I’m being unlocked.
One sacred step at a time.
