Friday Night Reflections: The Goddess Comes Home — Pt. 1

Friday Night Reflections: The Goddess Comes Home — Pt. 1

Oracle Pull & Book Club Alignment 6/20/25

This past Friday night, we gathered in sacred space for Part One of Ricki’s “Goddess Comes Home” ritual. Before diving into the guided meditation, we were asked to journal where we were emotionally and spiritually in that very moment, and what we hoped to receive from the experience.

For me, I wrote that I felt happy — genuinely proud of everything PGST has accomplished so far. But I also acknowledged that I wanted to step deeper into confidence — not just in the physical sense, but spiritually too. That quiet craving to fully own my power was pulsing underneath my peace.

Before the meditation began, Ricki invited us to call upon our favorite goddess. That simple prompt carried weight. It activated something ancestral — reminding us we come from divine, not deficit.

✨ After the meditation, one sister shared that she was raised in Christianity and conditioned to fear spirituality. That moment felt like a portal opened. A reminder that we’ve been here before… in this exact conversation. It instantly brought back the book we once started in book club but never finished: “African Goddess Initiation” by Abiola Abrams.

That book wasn’t just about learning goddesses — it was about reclaiming the parts of ourselves we were taught to reject.

So in divine alignment, we’re restarting the book club with African Goddess Initiation, because the message is loud and clear: It’s time to come home to self. Again.

🔮 Oracle Pull After the Meditation

We used the Ascended Masters Oracle Deck, and this was the energy that showed up to close the night:

  1. Oshun — “Drink More Water”

A beautiful nudge from the Yoruba goddess of sweet waters and sensuality. This isn’t just physical hydration — this is a call to nourish the spirit. Water is memory. Water is softness. Water is the divine feminine in motion. Oshun reminds us to return to our flow — to be soft with ourselves and stay emotionally attuned.

  2. St. Francis — “Follow Your Heart”

A universal message of compassion and intuitive guidance. St. Francis reminds us that our inner compass is sacred. He bridges nature and divinity, which mirrors PGST’s mission — to blend spirituality, wellness, and grounded feminine wisdom. Following our heart is how we lead this movement.

  3. Lugh — “Persistence”

This Celtic sun god brings masculine fire to remind us: stay the course. Our rituals, our events, our mission — it all takes perseverance. Lugh reminds us that what we’re building is sacred and sustainable, as long as we remain intentional. Keep going. Even when it’s quiet. Even when it’s hard.

  4. Maitreya — “Power of Joy”

The Buddha of laughter and abundance, Maitreya came in hot to remind us that joy is the mission. We heal through laughter, through song, through smoke, through sisterhood. Joy is our rebellion. Joy is our revolution. Joy is sacred — and PGST was built on it.

This pull perfectly embodies our journey:

  • We’re flowing like Oshun, honoring the soft and sensual.

  • We’re following our intuitive path like St. Francis, guided by heart-led vision.

  • We’re building with Lugh’s persistence, brick by brick, belief by belief.

  • And we’re reclaiming Maitreya’s joy as medicine

PGST isn’t just a space for healing — it’s a portal for returning to self. And every session, every ritual, every pull reminds us: the goddess is not coming… she’s already here.

She’s in the room.

She’s in the mirror.

She’s in us.
